Church Updates 3.11.26

Dear Church Family & Friends, 
A couple of updates I want to share with you.
 
Legacy Fund:
 
The Legacy Fund currently sits at just over $45,000! In only one month!! I’m overwhelmed at the faithfulness of our Lord. I’m also so blessed at how you all have asked the Lord what you should do and have stepped up and obeyed. I continue to ask God to provide new seed to each of you who filled out a monthly pledge card at our Vision Banquet (2 Cor. 9:10). Thanks for trusting God to fulfill those commitments. If you were not able to attend the Vision Banquet but want to be part of the miracle, then jump on board! We are trusting God for $100,000 in order to perform much needed infrastructure upgrades so we can start planning for our new building.

Second Service Launch: September 13
 
Launching a new Sunday morning service is a big part of God’s plans for us this year. My original intention was to launch at Easter and then continue with the two services.
 
For several reasons and after lots of prayer, we’ve decided to move our big  launch to September 13. First, I feel strongly that our new youth pastor, Ben, will play an important role in the addition of our new service. Ben returns from Ecuador in April and begins with us in May. Secondly, we tend to grow in the summer, but attendance is more sporadic due to vacations, sports, etc. Third, I want to have a longer runway to recruit and train our launch team.
 
I’m asking God for at least 25 solid, faithful members to join our staff for the new 11:00 AM service. We need worshippers to worship. Servers to serve. Prayer warriors to pray. And I desperately need my “amen corner” to help me preach each week!
 
Pray about joining us for at least 6 months and see what God does!
 
Well, that’s it! Easter is a month away. Who will you invite to church?
