The Altar Community

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

A Life Group is a small community of people that meet in homes or at the church, or anywhere else for that matter. Life Groups exist in order for us to "do life together" outside of Sunday mornings.
WHAT HAPPENS AT A LIFE GROUP?
Each Life Group will have its own unique patterns and practices but there will be a rhythm of meeting, studying the scriptures, sharing life, and serving side by side in the community. Most groups will be spending time sharing a meal or snack, walk through part of their study, and pray together.
 IS THERE CHILDCARE?
This varies from group to group.
HOW CAN I BECOME A LIFE GROUP LEADER?
Maybe after reading about Life Groups, you have a desire to lead a Life Group in your neighborhood. If so, we'd love to talk with you about:
  • WHY Life Groups are so important
  • WHAT is expected of a Life Group leader
  • HOW are Life Groups formed
  • And answer other questions you might have about groups!
If you are interested in leading a Life Group, please click here, and we'll reach out to set up a time to talk!
