And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!" So God granted him what he requested.

God’s very nature is to bless.
He’s cheering you on to victory.
He is not withholding His blessings.

     1. Pray for God’s blessings in your life.

"Oh, that You would bless me indeed.”

We are blessed so we can be a blessing.
With blessings comes responsibility.
When we bless others, God takes care of us.

     2. Pray for influence.

“and enlarge my territory”

Influence to share the gospel.
Influence in your family.
Influence at work/school.
Influence in your community.

     3. Pray for God’s presence and power.

“that Your hand would be with me”

God’s presence and power changes atmospheres.
God’s presence and power changes circumstances.
God’s presence and power points people to Christ.

     4. Pray for supernatural protection.

“and that You would keep me from evil”

God is your strong and mighty tower.
God is my ever-present help in a time of need.
God has caused you to be more than a conqueror.
God shields you with His mighty armor.
God’s Word and His Spirit are the weapons of your warfare.
